Bocholt bei Nacht

Three students from the Q1 class of the St.-Georg-Gymnasium got together – under the guidance of teachers Elke Winter and Anke Lenk – and created the artwork “Bocholt bei Nacht”.

Several scenes were created in the process: a tree in the centre with the heart and text “Bocholt 800” carved into the bark, a library, a room, a stage – and cleverly-hidden light switches everywhere to illuminate subtly the individual scenes in order to create their Bocholt by night. And there was also a call for participation: Visitors were allowed to hang their ideas on a small clothesline.
